I have a Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics, one of the most mathematically demanding branches of physics, from UCLA and an undergrad degree in physics from Cornell. I have a lot of experience as a TA and tutor for all kinds of students. I expect most of them to say "I hate physics", and that's OK.
