Hello, I've been in education since 1996. I hold an Illinois teacher certification in 6-12 English language arts. While I have been out of the classroom, I have been heavily involved in tutoring and curriculum development. Currently, I utilize my education background in educational publishing where I am involved in understanding educational theories and developing curriculum aligned to standards. I have a master's degree in education (focus on reading and assessment) and an MBA in marketing.
