I have taught English, most specifically reading and writing mostly at the freshman in college level. I have also subbed at a variety of high schools. When I have subbed in English I find that even the most recalcitrant students listen because they understand that I am trying to help each and every one of them.I have even worked with students who have English as a second language. In this respect I specifically tutored Korean students ranging in age from nine years to a graduate student.
