I have over 200 hours of volunteer and observation time in middle and high school classrooms. Over 150 hours of volunteer effort were in a 7th grade classroom. The student interactions were mostly to help in-class practice time with individuals or pairs. I also helped by taking small groups aside, typically one to three, who had missed class or quizzes to help them catch up and to improve the teacher's time efficiency.
