Over the years, I have taught Math, Science and Spanish to children and adults who were facing various challenges with their respective subjects. Some were friends whom I taught without a charge, whereas others were individuals who paid to learn their assigned material. I discovered that people can and are more willing to learn when they can see the material from the perspective of its connection to the foundational concepts and its applications to the real world.
