Students are the reason why I became a teacher. In 2009, I graduated with my BA in Elementary Education. I then traveled down to a small town in southern Colorado with my young son to begin my career in teaching, as a 1st grade teacher. Nine years later, I am still teaching 1st grade, as well as, running the elementary music department and elementary student council sponsor.
