I have been teaching for 13 years in elementary education. I spent 7 years in a first grade bilingual classroom. I spent 2 years in a mixed 1st/2nd grade class. I then moved to a 3rd grade English classroom, while working part time with kindergarten groups on reading and 2nd grade students with writing. I spent a year helping special needs students in a mixed Kinder-3rd grade classroom and have been in a 2nd grade bilingual classroom most recently. I intend to continue teaching in schools while
