I worked as a teacher in social studies for the Los Angeles Unified School District for 12 years. I began my teaching career in 2004. I taught history for 7th grade, eighth grade, and 10th through 12 grades. I also taught Latin American Studies and Mexican American Studies. I have over 10 years of classroom experience.
