One of the greatest joys in life is seeing a child succeed. I love to see their face light up when they "get it". I found my passion for teaching when I began volunteering in the classroom when my own children were in elementary school. Soon after I began substituting, I knew I had found my gift. The teachers I subbed for began encouraging me to pursue my teaching degree. I have been employed with the Nassau County School Board for 9 years teaching both general education, ESE, and Special Needs
