I have received a Ph.D. in Biology from New York University and a B.S. in Biology from Columbia University. Subsequently, I held postoctoral fellowships at the American Museum of Natural History (New York), the National Museum of Natural History (Smithsonian Institution; Washington D.C.), and Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle (Paris).
