In college, I majored in special education with a focus on deaf studies. I have been tutoring for over four years and prior to that was a classroom teacher and substitute teacher. I'm a state certified educator in multiple content areas. Currently, I'm homeschooling a first-grade student and am available for homeschool classes in addition to tutoring in person or online.In my sessions, I like to assess the underlying misunderstandings and strengths first.
