Dr. Beth S. currently teaches AP Music Theory for Georgia Virtual School and she is also the AP Music Theory Curriculum Writer and Subject Matter Expert for the University System of California. Before her current positions, she was the Director of Bands, for ten years, at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) in Marietta, Georgia, and received the Outstanding Faculty Award in 2011, and named Governor’s Teaching Fellow in 2012.
