I have been a math teacher at the middle school, high school and community college level for more than 20 years. I have seen struggling students become confident achievers on numerous occasions. I have also had students repeat a class with me, as they felt comfortable with me, and then do very well. There are some days when all of us are not at our best and need to have more examples and attempts to succeed. Tutoring enables the teacher and the student to work together at the best pace.
