As a life long learner, fortunate to grow up as a world traveled Army Brat, I am curious, inquisitive and knowledgeable in numerous subjects. I have a deep appreciation for both the Arts and Sciences, but my university studies were concentrated in the Life and Earth Sciences. As a result, I was employed as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a variety of settings for many years. I served as teacher and mentor to newly graduated co-workers, as well as young students as a volunteer in my free time.
