I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Roosevelt University in December 1986 and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction/Administrative Option with honors from Ferris State University in December 2006. I started my educational career in 1987 where I worked in various school environments in Chicago as a middle and high school math teacher in alternative, private, Public, Upward Bound and charter schools educational environment with at-risk and disadvantaged youth.
