First of all, I don’t like math…I have a passion for it. I spend free time doing math problems the way others do cross-word puzzles, or watch soap operas. And, ironically, I wasn’t always a good math student. Until my second year of junior high I was just average in my math classes, and wasn’t recommended into advanced math. Then, in 8th grade, something remarkable happened…I got a GREAT math teacher. Mr. Lunsford made all the difference in opening a new world of understanding. A light swit
