I started teaching ESOL in 1996. I lived and worked in western Ukraine teaching English in a high school for two years. In 1998 I received my TESOL Certificate from the ESL International Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada. When I moved to Central Ohio I coordinated and taught an ESL program in various workplaces then a county-funded ESL program in life skills.
