I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in government and have worked in issues related to human needs, advocating in state government on social issues. I served as the Director of the New York State Office for the Aging. I prepared and delivered a lot of powerpoint presentations on social issues particularly with regard to public policies regarding health, aging and demographic changes. I have also written three books, one of the senior citizens movement in New York State.
