I am originally from Ecuador, and I moved to the United States because the Louisiana Department of Education hired me to teach Spanish as a Second Language. I worked in New Orleans for two years, and I taught in an Elementary School and in a Charter School that had an Immersion Program in Spanish.After Hurricane Katrina I was forced to move to Philadelphia and taught at a Charter School in North Philadelphia for 9 years.
