I graduated from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa., with a major in History and a specialization in European History. My bachelor's thesis was titled "Joseph Stalin before the Russian Revolution." Naturally, I still read a lot of history. Most recently I finished reading General McArthur by Arthur L. Herman. In the seventies, I taught high school English at a small, private school during the in Ft. Laurderdale, Florida. I was also an English tutor in private homes in northern
