Several students I have worked with have at some point turned to me and said "I hate this (insert subject)." What they really mean to say is, "This is very difficult. I don't like it because I don't understand it, and thinking about this is making my head hurt." We have all been there. Learning about complex subjects can be extremely frustrating. Mastering something that once seemed impossible can also become a source of self confidence that will serve us later in life. As a tutor
