I began my teaching career as a reading teacher. From that experience I received a Master's Degree in counseling. After counseling for 10 years or more, I was promoted to the position as Assistant Principal of Glenn Middle School where I served for 10 years. I retired but asked to join the faculty of Miles College as a reading teacher, where I served for 4 years until I became the Interim Director for Development Education for 10 years.
