In college I wanted to write the "Great American Novel" so my undergraduate degree is in English with a minor in Psychology. Instead I joined the Air Force and flew airplanes for a living, traveled the world, and loved every day of 21 years as an officer! I'm still waiting to write that novel! I obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration--think MBA but for people who work in the government (MPA). I have been teaching as an adjunct faculty for University of Phoenix in their business
