I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade, and played through college at Winona State University (DII school). I played year round, and coached volleyball camps in the summer. My minor is in coaching, and I was an assistant Varsity coach at a private high school in Winona, Minnesota. My degree is Exercise Science, I studied how to exercise properly and the effects of exercise on the body. This led me to become a personal trainer for 4 years.
