Before I became a teacher, I was a lawyer for 15 years. I had fun arguing with other lawyers and cross-examining witnesses, but I decided to evolve after my son was born. He struggled with a few issues in elementary school and it was there that I realized how powerful teaching, and thoughtful, targeted intervention, can be.
