I graduated from UW-Madison with a Classics degree/Latin emphasis. I came to love Latin by picking up a Wheelock Latin book at a local used book store. Throughout that summer I worked through the book and discovered what I wanted my major to be. During my Junior year I was selected by my Latin teacher and received a scholarship to go to Rome to study with Father Reginald Foster for his summer Latin program. I believe Latin is one of the most useful languages you can learn and I encourage my stu
