I love teaching! After getting my BA in Russian Studies in the late 1980s, I waitressed for a bit and meditated on my life's passion. I went back to graduate school in 1992 and, upon receiving my master's in 1994, landed a fabulous job teaching sixth grade on the seacoast. I went on to teach seventh grade Language Arts, and then moved to grades 2, 3, 5 and 4. I tutored adults before their GED exam and have spent some summers tutoring in reading and writing.
