I am a Professor Emeritus in the English Department at Kent State University. I received the Distinguished Scholar Award several years ago for my writing and research. At various times, I have been a guest professor, exchange professor, research professor, and a Fulbright professor in Italy, Germany, China, Japan, Norway, and Israel.
