Having always enjoyed the subject of chemistry, I taught high school chemistry for 8 years as a second career. I retired in June 2011 but my certification is valid through June 2016. I have successfully taught all levels of Chemistry from General Chemistry to Honors Chemistry and Advanced Placement Chemistry in two different Duval County high schools neither of which was an academic magnet.
