I currently tutor in the mathematics department at CSUN and tutored the developmental math program helping incoming freshman gain confidence in themselves to execute the basic fundamentals of math. I tutored last fall and currently tutoring in the Math Lab with higher levels of math. I have previous experience in teaching when I coached a basketball city league team, and to me good teaching skills and practices translates to all subjects, as I would teach basketball the same way I teach math.
