I am an archaeologist who is retired from the University of Memphis and now does archaeological consulting throughout the Southeast. Most of my work at the University included directing a combined archaeological museum, research center, and reconstructed prehistoric Indian village where we held special events in cooperation with the main southeastern Indian tribes. Our archaeological work was done almost entirely by students in various classes who then worked on various projects as employees.
