I always have had a passion for teaching. In the Netherlands, were I was born, I was a DSL (Dutch as Second Language) teacher assistant for 2 years, before I moved to the US in 2000. While here, I was a long term substitute teacher in Pasco County, Fl for 2 years. When I discovered that one of my own children was having difficulties in the school system due to autism / add, I pulled out all of my children (I have 3) and took their education in my own hands.
