I have a degree in Psychology but have taken all the requisites (plus more) in the sciences to apply for medical school. I have a particular interest in education and was a student teacher for a semester at an after-school program at a middle school in Brooklyn, NY. I have always felt that teaching is one of the greatest things one can do and this interest led me to take courses in childhood development and learning and education theories which eventually led to an interest in education policy.
