I graduated from Peru State with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I then attended Doane College with a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I am a first grade teacher in Waverly for the last 10 years. I have 17 years of teaching experience. I enjoy forming a positive relationship with my students. Teaching reading is my love! Reading is so important in the younger elementary years. I have experience with guided reading instruction. Students often gain 6 levels
