I was a Latin major in college and received my B.A. in Latin, but I made a detour and was an attorney for 35 years. For the past 5 years I have taught Latin at the junior high school, high school, and university levels. I have taught all-boy classes, all-girl classes and mixed. I have been an individual tutor in Latin and English.I say to all of my students: You cannot convince me that you are not smart enough to learn Latin. Everyone can (think of all those gladiators!) You just need the r
