I hold a degree in deaf education from Northern Illinois University, and taught in the Chicago Public Schools. Subsequently, I was a substitute teacher for both hearing and deaf students in the Denver Public Schools. I have taught Hard of Hearing and Deaf kids of all ages, from six years of age to high school students.
