I have a small but rewarding background in teaching. During my one semester break between my Bachelors degree and the beginning of my Masters work, I was a guest/substitute teacher for the CAIU (Capital Area Intermediate Unit). I was a short-term substitute teacher who was called upon regularly to cover for teachers in the Mid-Penn area. Most of my work came in the Middletown Area School District, but I also worked at Derry Township, Camp Hill and Lower Dauphin School Districts, among others.
