I have been teaching different subjects for seven years but I enjoy teaching math the most. I am currently the math department chair at Coakley Middle School. My students, both Pre-AP and advanced, on average score respectively higher than most middle schoolers in their grade level. I like to think my students enjoy the way I teach because I respect their opinions and have fun while giving them the confidence to learn on their own. I focus on why we do things in math instead of just the how.
