I have a Masters from Roosevelt University and a degree in English from Southern Illinois University. I'm an experienced middle and high school English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher and tutor. Currently, I teach 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies at a Level 1 neighborhood Chicago Public School. I approach learning from a student centered, real world perspective. As a former high school teacher, I truly understand where kids need to be by the end of their academ
