Since 1993, as an adjunct faculty member, Thomas has successfully developed and taught undergraduate film studies courses at such leading Colorado universities and colleges as the University of Colorado at Boulder, Denver University, Regis University, Metropolitan State University of Denver, the Colorado Film School, and Chapman University (Denver). Ranging from lecture sections of 200-plus students to senior seminars of 15 or less, these courses have included Introduction to Film Studies,
