My name is Dan and I am a Geographer, substitute teacher, aspiring Science teacher, and Karate instructor. My degree is in Geography, the study of place. I focus on systems and context; what, when, why. Substitute teaching has given me the opportunity to meet a wide variety of students in a range of classes. I've taught 7th grade science for an extended period, leading classes and building curriculum. I am also a second degree black belt, I've been teaching kids and adults for more than 13 years
