I am a certified teacher in the state of New Jersey, with a math degree as well. I have about 8 years of tutoring experience, as I started tutoring elementary school aged students when I was a junior in high school. Since then I have been tutoring students of all ages and subjects, including my peers as a math/writing tutor in college. I prefer tutoring over teaching in the classroom, as the one on one atmosphere of tutoring allows me to directly assist students and build lessons plans based o
