Greetings! I am a local history teacher who has a degree and additional certification in special education from Eastern Michigan University. I am also a graduate student, working on my thesis in the sociology of education, also from Eastern. This is my third year of teaching. I have worked as a tutor in the past for students with special needs at the middle and high school levels. I have also volunteered in a literacy program which worked with students who were in elementary school.
