I began tutoring writing in the ESL Learning Lab at my community college and I loved it so much I decided to switch my major from art to English. I earned a BA in English from Smith College and an M.Ed in Education at American International College. As an undergrad I worked in the Jacobson Writing Center matching tutors with students and scheduling appointments. After graduation I returned to work as an English teacher and professional tutor at the community college where I began my own college
