I home-schooled our own children before accepting a position in the Desoto County Schools as a teaching assistant for Special Education.I taught our son from seventhth thru twelfth grade until he was offered a full academic scholarship to Northwest Community College at the age of sixteen. We also have a 9 year old whom I taught thru the 3rd grade at which time she tested at a 5th grade level by the Desoto County Board of Education.
