I graduated from Glen Oaks Community College in 1975 with an Associate of Arts Degree. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1979 with a Bachelors Degree in Music with a minor in Elementary Education. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1982 with a Master's Degree/Teaching in the Community College.I was a substitute in the Kalamazoo Public School System for a number of years.
