What makes me a great tutor is my genuine interest in my students' academic success and my individualized tutoring approach for different students and classes. First, I must assess the level of understanding the student currently has before we either start on the lesson or go back to master important material that is needed to move forward. Instead of giving students direct answers to their questions, I ask them several questions of my own designed to guide them to the correct thought processes.
