I am a public school teacher and have taught first grade for over 25 years. It was my dream-come-true. Just last year, I was asked to move up to third grade since I have my certification in reading for K-12 and Ohio now has the Third Grade Guarantee. My heart was always in first grade but I've got to say that I'm actually loving third! It seems as though moving to a higher grade may be easier than moving to a lower grade.
