On a personal level, I've taught family and friends how to use computers and identify the components associated with them. While I don't have a solid knowledge base of Apple, I've also been able to explain some functions used in Mac OS to those who weren't familiar. In regards to smartphones, I've shown people how to setup and link their phones to their computer. Most all of this experience I've learned hands-on from a desire to understand computers more than the average user.
