Can you remember your favorite teacher? Most of mine were English teachers, so I majored in English at William and Mary. When I graduated from college, I continued my education, earning a M.Ed. from William and Mary and becoming a certified English teacher. I worked in Isle of Wight County, Newport News, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth as a teacher or substitute teacher. I tutored part-time when I worked in Portsmouth. After I had my first child, I quit teaching and eventually home-schooled my child
